Kforce has a client that is seeking a Communication Specialist in Juno Beach, FL. Duties:
- Communication Specialist will be responsible for contributing to the strategic communication support of a large, high visibility business unit
- Expected to demonstrate a high degree of initiative and independence in assessing and diagnosing communication needs and taking a hands-on approach to executing a response plan
- Specific responsibilities include strategic communication planning, writing, message development, following and improving established processes
- As a Communication Specialist, you will develop quantifiable metrics to track performance and progress
- Responsibilities are varied and complex and include frequent cross-functional interactions
- Will interface with business unit leadership and business process owners
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Liberal Arts, Public Relations, Advertising, etc.) required
- Seven or more years of relevant experience required; Experience in three or more communication disciplines required
- Excellent writing, verbal, editing, presentation, and overall communication skills; Extremely strong AP-style writing and editing skills
- Expected to demonstrate expertise through writing and editing tests
- Must demonstrate expertise in the development and disciplined execution of strategic communication plans and using research and audience insight to develop key messages
- Demonstrated discipline in project execution
- Strong project management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative, out-of-the box thinking
- An ability to remain flexible and adaptable to meet the demands of internal clients and demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for their business
- Ability to follow critical business processes to ensure quality and timely execution of initiatives
- Ability to multitask and maintain high performance under extreme pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated basic graphic design skills, set-up for print projects and ability to work with vector-based artwork
