Controller

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a growing wholesale company is seeking a Controller to join their company in the Canton, MA area. The client offers strong benefits and compensation package including a 20% target bonus 401K match, and PTO. This is a great company culture by empowering one another. Duties:

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analyze financial results, provide insights to Senior management
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reports in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Budgeting and forecasting - develop and manage the annual budgeting proves
• Conduct financial forecasting
• Monitor Budget performance
• Accounting management - oversee all accounting functions, accounts, payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• Ensure proper internal controls
• Manage month-end and year-end closing process
• Monitor cash flow and working capital
• Compliance and audit - Manage internal controls and auditing, coordinate audits with external auditors and address findings
• Maintain financial records and documentation
• Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team fostering a culture of continuous improvement, provide training and development opportunities for team members
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA a plus; CPA strongly preferred
• 5 years of experience out of retail/wholesale/manufacturing
• Extensive ERP experience; Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
• Knowledge of retail financial metrics
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
