Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking a Directorate Support Analyst. Responsibilities:
- Provides technical and management leadership on major tasks or work assignments
- Provide analysis, recommendations and support for the drafting, development and promulgation of IT Standards and Technical Profile Standards to enable Enterprise Interoperability
- Provide support for the coordination of the DoD IT standards and Technical
- Profile Standards resource requirements across the enterprise information environment, warfighter, business, and defense portion of the intelligence mission areas
- Provide support and coordinate with DISA on recommendations for enhancements to the DoD IT Standards Registry (DISR, a module in the GIG Technical Guidance-Federation (GTG-F), to include updating outdated and obsolete IT standards and Technical Profile standards to better support the implementation of the DoD policy on utilization of IT standards and Technical Profile Standards for interoperability
- Provide administrative and technical support for DoD enterprise-level IT standards governance reform to support enterprise interoperability
- Provide support for the Joint Enterprise Standards Committee (JESC) and/or appropriate EASB subordinate standards panel or similar enterprise-level governance meetings where component/agency concerns are resolved
- Master's degree and 12 years of experience or 18 years of experience without the degree
- Must be operationally oriented and able to multitask/prioritize work in a high-volume environment
- Team player with a positive and professional demeanor, strong customer service awareness, and excellent organizational skills
- Flexible and forward-leaning especially with regards to operations and planning
- Understand the role of the Senior Military Aide/Advisor (SMA)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Agility with task management, coordination, and execution
- Solid knowledge of MS Office suite especially with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to multitask and execute directives effectively and with little supervision
- Exceptional communications, staffing, and decision-making skills
- Ability to share information and guide activities productively
- Superior presentation skills
- Experience with interacting with Government officials and senior military personnel
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) or similar tool
- Confident and self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude
- Familiarity with DoD operations and processes
- Good writing and briefing skills
