Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an Endpoint Administrator. Key Responsibilities:
- Endpoint Management: Endpoint Administrator will oversee the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle of all endpoint devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices)
- Security: Implement and manage endpoint security protocols including antivirus, encryption, patching, and vulnerability management to safeguard against security risks
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor endpoint performance and security, resolving issues proactively, and responding to escalated user concerns and incidents
- Software Deployment & Updates: Use endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, SCCM, Intune) to deploy software updates, patches, and new applications efficiently
- Configuration Management: As an Endpoint Administrator, you will develop and maintain standardized endpoint configurations, ensuring consistency across the organization's devices
- Policy Enforcement: Enforce IT policies related to endpoint usage, security, and compliance, ensuring that all devices are in alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements
- Asset Management: Track, manage, and inventory endpoint devices, ensuring proper documentation and reporting for asset lifecycle management
- Collaboration: Work closely with network, security, and support teams to ensure optimal endpoint performance and resolve technical issues swiftly
- Training & Documentation: Create and maintain user documentation and knowledge base articles; Provide training to end-users on proper device usage, security, and troubleshooting
- Incident Response: Participate in incident response and recovery activities related to endpoint security breaches or other critical issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in endpoint administration or related IT support roles
- Strong expertise in endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, SCCM, Intune, AirWatch)
- Hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, and mobile device management (MDM) solutions
- Proficient in endpoint security tools (e.g., antivirus, EDR solutions, disk encryption, VPN)
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and network management
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with users and technical teams
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Certified Endpoint Security Professional) are a plus
