Endpoint Administrator (Direct Hire | Onsite – San Antonio, TX)
We are seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Administrator for a direct hire, full-time opportunity located onsite in San Antonio, TX. This role is ideal for someone passionate about end-user systems management, operating system deployment, and endpoint automation using tools like SCCM, InTune, and JAMF.
C2C and vendor candidates will NOT be considered.
Only U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders are eligible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain service requirements for all end-user computing devices (workstations, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices).
- Ensure high availability and reliability of all endpoint hardware and software solutions.
- Lead configuration, patch management, and deployment tasks using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Intune, JAMF, and MDT.
- Automate repetitive tasks and deployments using scripting, packaging, or enterprise endpoint management tools.
- Monitor client health, track deployment success, and identify areas for performance and reliability improvement.
- Collaborate with the Support Desk Manager to manage hardware lease and lifecycle processes.
- Provide internal training and knowledge-sharing to engineering and support teams on endpoint solutions.
- Research and stay up to date with current trends in endpoint management, desktop virtualization, and systems automation.
- Complete other related duties to support organizational goals and maintain alignment with core values.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field – or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure or network services, with a focus on endpoint support and management.
- Proficient in:
- SCCM / MECM / MCM
- OSD (Operating System Deployment)
- Intune
- MDT
- JAMF
- Patch Management
- Application Packaging
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop/server OS, Active Directory, Exchange, networking protocols, and end-user hardware.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and optimize end-user systems.
Preferred Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work after hours and on weekends as needed.
- On-call availability for 24/7 support rotations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,743.00 - $85,000.00 per year
