Kforce has a client in Minneapolis, MN that is seeking a Financial Crimes Data Analyst. Responsibilities:
- In this role, the Financial Crimes Data Analyst designs and builds relational database models and defines data requirements to meet the business needs
- Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of databases
- Foster value creation from the use of the internal organization's data assets, as well as from the external data ecosystem
- The Financial Crimes Data Analyst will source the value through envisioning data-enabled strategies as well as enabling all forms of business outcomes through analytics, data and analytics governance, and enterprise information policy
- 5-12 years of experience
- Financial Crimes experience and exposure to AML or Fraud
- Knowledge of banking transactions, relational database, data mapping, system architecture
- Spark/informatica and data mapping
- SQL expert and highly analytical
- Self starter and quick learner
- Collaborative and used to working in teams
- Experience using JIRA or similar and agile ways of working
- Able to provide thought leadership and suggestions on problems and decisions relating to Fin Crimes data and decisions
- Understanding of data lineage and reconciliations
- Able to write tech docs, data mapping, JIRA user stories
