Kforce has a client in Stamford, CT that is hiring an IT Security Project Manager to assist with the management of various key projects and initiatives in the IT Security tower. Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are managed with high quality and delivered on-time, on-budget, and within-scope. The Project Manager will be responsible to plan out and drive deliverables, proactively identify/resolve risks and issues, track/report status, and communicate with all relevant stakeholders. Additionally, the Project Manager will support the Portfolio Governance lead with reporting of projects and follow up of various project tasks. The successful candidate may be asked to manage multiple projects and or initiatives in parallel. Specific Accountabilities:

- Be the primary point of contact and accountable for the delivery of assigned projects/initiatives
- Define project goals, success criteria and expectations with stakeholders
- Manage the initiative(s) successfully through all project phases within the given constraints time, budget, scope and quality
- Effectively identify and manage project related change requests
- Learn and conform to all established IT governance and project delivery processes
- Create and manage a realistic and credible project plan; Negotiate project deliverables, milestones, and target dates
- Establish and continuously facilitate appropriate communication amongst the stakeholders and teams, ensure clarity on goals, priorities, and concrete responsibilities for all team members
- Work with external vendors and vendor management team to obtain required external services in support of projects/initiatives
- Manage project budgets
- Provide regular verbal and documented status updates
- Escalate any risks/issues to Portfolio Governance lead
- Document all required project artifacts in a central repository
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in delivery of IT Projects
- Experience in managing teams that consist of both company employees and 3rd parties
- Experience in managing projects in a global, matrix environment
- Very strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Follow a well-structured mode of operation, including detailed project planning with the appropriate level of detail
- Proven track record in delivering program/projects on-time, on-budget and in-scope
- Strong Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Azure DevOps & MS Project skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Familiarity with IT Infrastructure: Citrix; Active Directory/Entra ID; Windows 11
