Summary
Selby Jennings is partenered with a leading publically traded Renewable energy provider looking for an IT Lead / Manager to own the short and long-term strategic lifecycle management of client and infrastructure hardware assets, software assets and software licenses throughout the organization, as well as the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) asset entries. This hire will be a key stakeholder in supporting the entire business’s IT infrastructure.
Core Responsibilities (but not limited to)
Monitoring of all internal IT-related operations, as well as new initiatives, to ensure general compliance with US and global-level cybersecurity standards
Participation in internal and external audits, procurement, and procurement / finance strategies as they pertain to IT Asset Management (ITAM) - and physical asset security
Document and maintain the policies and processes required for an effective ITAM program
Lead internal IT support : assisting employees with application and computer systems support including general software (OS / Cloud File Storage / Internal Collaboration & Messaging / Department Specific software), CRM / ERP, networking applications, product-related software applications, responses to external IT inquiries, and other general IT topics.
Requirements
8 years of expereince providing leadership and guidance over IT Asset lifecycle for hardware and software
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-related field is preferred
Experience with or knowledge of operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance-monitoring tools
