Junior Project Manager I

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC/Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Junior Project Manager I. Job Summary: A leading broadband connectivity and cable operator company is seeking a highly motivated and assertive Junior Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all project objectives are met within the agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures. This role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation
• Develop and drive project plans and milestones
• Establish and maintain effective communication plans with project teams and key stakeholders
• Provide day-to-day direction to project resources
• Ensure effective change management throughout the course of the project
• Prepare documentation, status reports, and budgets
  
  

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in project management
• Specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Proven project planning and leadership abilities
• Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
