Kforce's client, a growing Engineering Technology company in Reno, NV is seeking a couple of Mid-Level, Senior and/or Principal Structural Engineers with an Active P.E. License. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on these search assignments. Responsibilities:

- Execute and manage structural engineering projects with minimal supervision, owning the entire process from concept to completion
- Will perform steel building design (including seismic), concrete foundation design, equipment anchorage, with a little bit of equipment platform/equipment support and cold formed steel stud design
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications from concept to production as well as, perform complex structural calculations, review design work by others, and generate comprehensive reports and evaluations
- Monitor and observe construction sites to ensure compliance with design intent, proactively identifying opportunities to improve quality and efficiency
- Analyze and design concrete, steel, and masonry structural elements while creating and justifying calculations based on the relevant material codes
- External design consultants to deliver coordinated, high-quality construction documents on time
- Work both independently and within interdisciplinary teams to arrive at technical solutions that meet project requirements
- Provide direction, mentorship, and supervision to junior engineers and other team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment
- Interface with internal business units to define project requirements, present designs, and incorporate feedback effectively
- We do land grading, underground and overhead utilities, hydrology, drainage; We do the buildings we design
- We also get into the installation of the tools
- Develop workflows, templates, and processes to boost design productivity and quality
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering (or Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis) or similar field
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Nevada, or eligibility for Nevada comity via an active NCEES record
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience for Mid-Level Engineer positions, 6-8 years of experience for Senior level Engineer positions and 10 years or more for Principal Structural Engineers
- Strong professional experience in structural engineering for commercial or industrial building-related design projects is required
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience specifically in RISA suite is required
- Experience in concrete and steel design
- Hands-on experience with Revit, BIM 360, and structural finite element software (ETABS, RISA, RAM) as well as structural calculation tools (Enercalc, Hilti Profis)
- Construction Administration: Comprehensive experience managing RFI responses and submittal reviews throughout construction
- Experience with steel building design (including seismic), concrete foundation design is required
- Working knowledge of Associated codes for concrete and steel
- In-depth knowledge of structural engineering for industrial building structures, including floor loading, lateral force-resisting systems, utility distribution support, equipment anchorage, and vibration
- Proficiency with U.S. building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318)
- Experience with Seismic analysis of the equipment is desired
- Revit is a plus (preferred)
- Equipment anchorage experience is a nice to have but not required

Salary : $80,000 - $135,000
