Principle SDET (Desktop Solutions)

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Principle SDET (Desktop Solutions). Responsibilities:

• Use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper software engineering and bug prevention strategies, testability and security
• Actively participate in the development process through writing and maintain application features and automated tests including unit tests, component tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests and interoperability tests
• Support the team in crafting reliable, accurate tests, and in integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage, release velocity and production health
• Enable the squad developing automation using outstanding Tools & Frameworks
  
  

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, software engineering or related field
• 6 to 9 years of experience with building, debugging and supporting automation frameworks and suites
• Cloud experience is a must
• Knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automation frameworks
• Self-directed, willing to take initiative, pragmatic and results-oriented
• Has keen attention to detail and wants to tackle really hard problems, not just detect them
• Able to learn large software systems end-to-end quickly
• Passionate about creating the best end-to-end customer experience
• Owns the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong results
• Keenly interested in learning new technologies and their adoption
• Hands on experience in programming and scripting languages
• Experience in delivering software in the Agile environment
• Experience with mocking frameworks
• Experience in crafting Testing Strategy & Best Practices is a plus
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
