Kforce is looking for a QA Analyst for a contract opportunity with an organization in the Leawood, KS area. Key Tasks:
- Working with cross-technical project teams to develop -end to end- solutions options and recommendations
- Develops process for capturing and maintaining Quality metrics
- Maintains QA standards
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus (necessary to develop self-direction, writing ability, critical thinking, and foundations of programming and software delivery fundamentals)
- Formal education or experience in at least one of the following areas: Software Quality Assurance; Software Testing; SQL Server Scripting
- 1-5 years of Test planning, documentation, and execution
- 3 years of experience in SQL Scripting; Experience in test automation preferred
- Cross technical project management experience
- Significant business and technical experience will be considered to meet the education requirement
- Extensive knowledge in systems development lifecycle methodologies, test structures, risk and control in software development methods
- Knowledge in systems development lifecycle methodologies, test structures, risk and control in software development methods
- Automation Testing /Automation scripting
- Database creation/maintenance SQL (enterprise manager Query Analyzer)
- Middleware software execution and administration (Biztalk)
- ETL Software (DataStage)
- Test automation- HP Quality Center, ALM, Quick Test Professional
- Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint
- Spreadsheet skills (e.g., Excel) - Test definition, Requirement Mapping, etc.
- Presentation skills (e.g., Power Point)
- Data flow diagrams - Visio
- Web page maintenance skills
- Word-processing skills (e.g., Word)
- Desktop publishing skills (e.g., Publisher)
