RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a QA Analyst for a contract opportunity with an organization in the Leawood, KS area.
Key Tasks:
* Working with cross-technical project teams to develop -end to end- solutions options and recommendations
* Develops process for capturing and maintaining Quality metrics
* Maintains QA standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus (necessary to develop self-direction, writing ability, critical thinking, and foundations of programming and software delivery fundamentals)
* Formal education or experience in at least one of the following areas: Software Quality Assurance; Software Testing; SQL Server Scripting
* 1-5 years of Test planning, documentation, and execution
* 3 years of experience in SQL Scripting; Experience in test automation preferred
* Cross technical project management experience
* Significant business and technical experience will be considered to meet the education requirement
* Extensive knowledge in systems development lifecycle methodologies, test structures, risk and control in software development methods
* Knowledge in systems development lifecycle methodologies, test structures, risk and control in software development methods
Proficiency with multiple productivity tools including, or very similar to:
* Automation Testing /Automation scripting
* Database creation/maintenance SQL (enterprise manager Query Analyzer)
* Middleware software execution and administration (Biztalk)
* ETL Software (DataStage)
* Test automation- HP Quality Center, ALM, Quick Test Professional
* Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint
* Spreadsheet skills (e.g., Excel) - Test definition, Requirement Mapping, etc.
* Presentation skills (e.g., Power Point)
* Data flow diagrams - Visio
* Web page maintenance skills
* Word-processing skills (e.g., Word)
* Desktop publishing skills (e.g., Publisher)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
