Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a QA to work both manual testing and automated testing for a large application. This position will sit in the DTC and is a hybrid working environment 4 days in office, 1 day remote. Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Manual QA Tester to join our team and contribute to the quality assurance process for our Lighthouse application. Lighthouse is a critical tool used by technicians at the company to enhance customer service during home repairs and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing user stories, writing and validating test cases, and collaborating with the automation team to identify which test cases need automation. Responsibilities:
- Review user stories in the agile bucket and write, validate, and optimize test cases
- Collaborate with the automation team to determine which test cases require automation
- Communicate effectively with the automation team, both onsite and remotely
- Utilize downtime to assist in other areas, preferably with experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Playwright
- Participate in grooming calls and ensure that all stories are groomed and ready for testing
- Strong QA mindset and attention to detail
- Experience with manual testing
- Familiarity with test case management tools such as ALM Octane
- Ability to track and manage defects in JIRA
- Basic knowledge of Playwright is a plus
- Willingness to learn and improve Playwright skills over time
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Playwright
- Ability to run Playwright scripts and review Playwright code for accuracy
- Knowledge of traditional automation tools
- Understanding of typescript code to effectively communicate with the automation team
- ALM Octane for test case management
- JIRA for defect tracking
- Playwright for building new automation scripts
