Recruiting Staffing Specialist

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a Detroit MI-based automotive manufacturer who brings engineering, technology, and design together to create innovative vehicles, energy solutions, and in-vehicle services, is seeking a Recruiting Staffing Specialist. Summary: The main function of a Recruiting Staffing Specialist is to seek out, interview, and screen applicants to fill existing and future job openings and promote career opportunities within an organization. A typical Recruiting Staffing Specialist is responsible for finding new talent to bring to an organization. Responsibilities:

• The Recruiting Staffing Specialist will establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
• Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer database, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media and employee referrals
• Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills
• Prepare and maintain employment records
• Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection
• The Recruiting Staffing Specialist will inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in organizations
  
  

Requirements

• Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time
• Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
• Knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices and other work related activities
• Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection and training
• Knowledge business and management principles involved in strategic planning
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
