Senior Accountant, Accounting Leadership Program

Responsibilities

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant for their Accounting Leadership Program in Worcester, Massachusetts (MA). Summary: This client is a Fortune 500 insurance company that offers amazing benefits including 401K, tuition reimbursement, certification reimbursement, PTO, etc. Their office offers dry cleaning and a free gym on site. The role will work in a hybrid schedule, 2 days a week in the office and 3 days a week remote. Duties:

• Conduct detailed analysis of financial trends, variances and forecast to support decision making processes
• Provide accurate SEC Reporting regarding the company's financial performance, operations, and risk factors
• Investment accounting - handle tracking and management of investments
• Financial Systems for reporting financial transactions
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; MBA is a plus
• Minimum 1 years, up to 5 years of experience with a -Big 4- CPA firm; Some portion of this experience must be in the attest function
• Supervise and Mentor accounting team providing guidance and training on accounting practices and procedures
• Excellent communications skills verbal and written
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
