Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Concord, NH that is looking for several Senior Accountants to join their growing team! Responsibilities:

• Senior Accountants will conduct and complete entire assignments, i.e. can handle larger/complex assignments from start to finish
• Prepares time budges for assignments, evaluates budget to actual results, and seeks understanding of the client billing process
• Participates in the billing process in effort to obtain highest billings possible in such process, i.e. ensuring full communication of issues on assignments to avoid leaving billings -on the table-
• Relates firm service offerings to potential service opportunities for current clients and communicates identified opportunities to supervisor/PIC
• Fosters a teamwork environment
• As a Senior Accountant, you will offer solutions to scheduling/workload conflicts or challenges
• Maintains professional and regular rapport with client personnel
• Achieves level of continuing education (regardless of certification status) required by firm standards
• Fully researches issues and presents pertinent guidance in support of suggested alternatives
• Challenges the assignment approach and seeks ways to gain efficiency
• Gains understanding of new accounting and auditing/tax literature
• Documents matter research and resolution in a clear and concise manner
• Seeks to provide -champion- knowledge of either technology or other specialized technical knowledge

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
