Summary: This role plays a crucial part in supporting the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring the highest possible quality and accuracy of accounts receivable processes. As a Senior Credit and Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing accounts receivable to guarantee timely and accurate processing of information. You will leverage available resources to optimize the collections process, support customer relationships, and contribute to the financial health of the company. Responsibilities:

As a Senior Credit and Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing accounts receivable to guarantee timely and accurate processing of information. You will leverage available resources to optimize the collections process, support customer relationships, and contribute to the financial health of the company. Responsibilities:
- Verify posting all the deposits both manual check and wires, ACH, credit cards, etc.
- Ensure deposits are posted to correct GL Accounts and total to the penny for each account daily
- Send out monthly statements
- Maintain excellent customer relations through professional conduct
- Providing unconditional releases to all clients requiring them for each payment made for the specific jobs, payment amounts and dates applicable; Keeping up with these requests on a timely basis and accuracy with providing them; This includes the email requests as well as the hard copy payments
- This individual will be critical to the departments preliminary notice process along with the conditional and unconditional releases
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
- 5-10 years of experience in collections
- 5 years of construction experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who can work independently-no need for micromanagement
- Experience with Preliminary notices and Conditional and Unconditional releases
