Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical support to support functions. This person will lead routine cost reporting, lead meetings with functional leadership and employees, and provide direct support to function Vice Presidents and their employees for ad hoc analysis and projects. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst will lead the global budget process for support functions, provide support for the strategic planning process, provide both support and leadership roles in a number of value-add projects and process improvements for the support functions. Responsibilities:
- Lead routine reporting approaches for the various corporate support functions, which includes understanding the needs of the function leader and their respective mangers
- Lead routine meetings and gather, analyze, and present meaningful information
- Maintain accountability for foundational reporting with special attention to the quality of information and analysis provided as well as the efficiency in which it is processed
- Identify and lead process improvement efforts
- Lead the budget and forecast processes for the global support functions
- Leadership will be required to communicate with all levels of the organization, execute related process improvements, and meet the expectations for analysis of costs and FTE levels
- Provide indirect support to the forecast, Strategic Planning process, and other deliverables required by the Finance Business Partnership Team
- In working with the support functions, identify cost savings, service improvements, and other value-add opportunities
- Gather information and create analysis that will yield improvements that are meaningful to customers
- Bachelor's degree
- CPA preferred
- 5 years of experience in finance or other related experience
- Strong working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and practices
- Broad understanding of internal controls
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong spreadsheet skills and database management abilities
- SAP preferred
- PowerBI, SAP Analytics Cloud or other data visualization experience preferred
