Our Kforce client, a leading market driven technology company located in Pittsburgh, PA is looking to hire a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their growing team. The client offers a full benefits package, self-managed PTO policy, great culture, and an onsite cafe. This position will be hybrid, 4 days in office and one day remote. Duties:

- As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will ensure compliance with accounting standards, ASC 606, IFRS15 for revenue recognitions
- Review contracts to assess revenue recognition implications and ensure accurate reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements related to revenue
- Experience working with Financial ERP systems (i.e., SAP, Oracle, Great Plains AX)
- Assist in monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
- Maintain appropriate internal controls and support external audit activities and audit preparation
- Provide support for the period close of revenue and cost G/L accounts
- As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will work closely with legal teams to gather necessary information for revenue recognition
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits
- Develop, implement, and maintain revenue accounting policies and procedures
- Stay update on changes in accounting regulations and best practices
- Mentoring and train junior accounting staff on revenue recognition principles and processes
- Bacher's degree in Accounting
- 3 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting, preferably within a manufacturing company
- Accounting background including experience of making journal and general ledger entries, doing reconciliations, etc.
- Experience working with Financial ERP systems (i.e., SAP, Oracle, and Great Plains AX)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (i.e., SAP, Oracle, Great Plains AX)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
- CPA, CA, CIA, CMA designation strongly preferred
