Senior Systems Security Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Marlborough, MA that is seeking an experienced Senior Security Systems Engineer to join a fast-paced, collaborative team. Summary: In this critical role, you will provide technical leadership and guidance on security architecture and system engineering efforts, focusing on Information Assurance (IA) design and development. You will analyze security architectures, define and allocate security requirements, identify vulnerabilities, and contribute to certification efforts. This role also involves generating security-related documentation in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:

• Senior Systems Security Engineer will support system engineering efforts for IA design, including security architecture analysis and vulnerability assessments
• Define, allocate, and validate security requirements to meet program objectives
• Lead the design and integration of cryptographic engines and embedment efforts
• Develop and maintain security certification documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• As a Senior Systems Security Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security challenges and implement robust solutions
• Utilize and manage requirements traceability tools such as DOORS or JAMA to track and ensure compliance with security requirements
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
• 4 years of related system security engineering experience
• Knowledge of traceability tools like DOORS, JAMA, or similar systems
• Proficiency in generating and managing certification documentation
• Proven ability to lead system security design efforts
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
