Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Application Support Specialist in Juno Beach, FL (Florida). Responsibilities:
- Software Application Support Specialist will provide technical support for software applications, resolving issues promptly and effectively
- Troubleshoot and diagnose application problems, identifying the root cause and implementing solutions
- Document software processes, including installation, configuration, and maintenance procedures
- Manage and monitor MS Windows scheduling tasks, ensuring timely execution of scheduled jobs
- Maintain and optimize MS Windows services to support application functionality
- Utilize AWS services to support and enhance software applications, including cloud infrastructure management, deployment, and monitoring
- As a Software Application Support Specialist, you will collaborate with development and operations teams to improve application performance and reliability
- Assist in application testing and validation to ensure software quality and functionality
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use the software applications
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in application support and software maintenance
- Proven experience in software application support or a similar role
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system integration
- Familiarity with AWS services, including cloud infrastructure management and deployment is a big plus
- Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and detailed software process documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality support
- Proficiency in managing and monitoring MS Windows scheduling tasks and services
