Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Beaverton, OR. Team Overview:
- The team focuses on creating new methods of making and manufacturing, specifically for the company's footwear
- Working cross functionally across company Innovation - coordinating logistics, setting schedules, outlining deliverables, etc.
- Implementing new capabilities such as robotics and robotics software
- Upcoming initiatives will require additional Software Test Engineers/Validation Engineers
- Evaluate regressions, APIs, code, and physical outcomes/results (robotics performance)
- 5-10 years of experience with: Robotics in a manufacturing setting, embedded code, application code, and testing
- CAD software: SolidWorks
- Program management tools: Slack, Confluence, Miro, Keynote/PowerPoint
- Other: AirTable, Rhino Grasshopper, Jump (Statistical Analysis), Qbench (Test Management Software)
- Example: Team uploads code - evaluate if they are they running regressions overnight, who's integrating the code, code writing, why is a robot not moving from point a to point b, it went to point c
- Able to validate code in a physical way
