RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Beaverton, OR.
Team Overview:
* The team focuses on creating new methods of making and manufacturing, specifically for the company's footwear
* Working cross functionally across company Innovation - coordinating logistics, setting schedules, outlining deliverables, etc.
* Implementing new capabilities such as robotics and robotics software
Summary of Need:
* Upcoming initiatives will require additional Software Test Engineers/Validation Engineers
* Evaluate regressions, APIs, code, and physical outcomes/results (robotics performance)
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-10 years of experience with: Robotics in a manufacturing setting, embedded code, application code, and testing
* CAD software: SolidWorks
* Program management tools: Slack, Confluence, Miro, Keynote/PowerPoint
* Other: AirTable, Rhino Grasshopper, Jump (Statistical Analysis), Qbench (Test Management Software)
* Example: Team uploads code - evaluate if they are they running regressions overnight, who's integrating the code, code writing, why is a robot not moving from point a to point b, it went to point c
* Able to validate code in a physical way
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
