Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a small but growing and established engineering technology company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Strategic Sales Account Manager preferably with VAR or Distributor experience or familiarity. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. The company offers an aggressive compensation package including generous annual bonus plan between 30 to 50% or more depending on sales achievements (Capped at 100% of base). Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Account Manager will develop and execute a Strategic Account Sales Plan in a manner directed by the Company
  • Will work with trusted partners who work with the end customers
  • Meets revenue goals, achieves growth initiatives and targeted sales goals
  • Educate customer(s) as to the intrinsic benefits of the company's electrical-mechanical IoT products and other Company products and emerging market programs
  • Demonstrate various products and features using sample or display product when meeting with customers
  • Maintain accurate and timely Customer Relationship Management information in the manner set forth by the Company
  • Report business transactions, customer acquisition or service problems, competitive developments, and market assessments on a monthly basis
  • Support and participate in the organization's Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001:2015 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives
  • As a Strategic Sales Account Manager, you will meet or exceed sales quota targets
  • Operate Microsoft Office Suite, computer presentation software, and customer relationship management software
  • Complete daily call schedule and planned customer visitations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Business Administration or a closely related field from a four-year college or university
  • Additional sales certification and training are plusses
  • At least Five (5) or more years of experience as a strategic account manager or similar sales or business development role
  • Experience working in the Fire Equipment, Fire Alarm Equipment or Commercial Sprinkler system equipment industry is desired but not required
  • Experience working with Trusted Partners, Distributors and/or VAR's (Value-Added Resellers) or experience coming out of that type of company is desired
  • Outside Sales experience with large National Accounts, demonstrating consistent quota achievement
  • Very good experience in practices and techniques of outside sales, territory management and analysis, prospecting and funnel management
  • A proven track record of achieving revenue goals, growth initiatives and targeted sales goals is required
  • Understand the implications of not conforming to QMS requirements
  • Communicate effectively with external and internal customers
  • Combination of transaction-oriented skills with negotiation and contract management ability
  • Able to execute complex selling process (multiple decision makers, locations)
  • Ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite, computer presentation software, and customer relationship management software
  • Must be open to travelling between 30 to 50%
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 environment a plus
  • Experience or understanding of Electro-Mechanical Products and Manufacturing is highly desired

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
