System Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Hopkins, MN that is seeking a System Analyst. Responsibilities:

• The System Analyst will provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, designing, and developing systems, processes and procedures that address complex business requirements
• Gathering, reviewing, analyzing, and translating business requirements and functions into well-organized systems designs, user stories and actionable solutions
• Establish strong relationships with stakeholders, product teams, project management teams, engineering teams, and external vendors
• Create technical documents (flow diagrams, state & sequence diagrams, etc.), as well as processes and procedures documentations
• The System Analyst assists with gap identification, gap prioritization and gap solution design efforts after business requirements gathering and initial systems configuration and systems
• Collaborates with internal and external technical teams to plan, design, and develop solutions
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• 5 years of experience as a System Analyst or in a similar role
  
  

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 8 years of experience as a System Analyst or in a similar role
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases such as SQL Server and Cassandra
• Strong Experience in data-mapping using XML and JSON
• Solid understanding of REST and SOAP API Integrations patterns
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as MS Azure
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
