What are the responsibilities and job description for the Voice Architect position at Kforce Inc.?
- The Voice Architect will develop detailed design, installation and configuration documentation for enterprise system deployments
- Collaborate with service delivery leaders to ensure an understanding of business cases and to ensure that the appropriate solution is selected that meets the business need
- Develop solutions with a focus on reducing operating costs or increasing guest and crew experience
- Provide Capital Expenditure Request level hardware, software, license and labor estimate detail for projects
- As a Voice Architect, you will contribute as necessary in a hands-on manner with the implementation of solutions in support of all projects
- Provide direction for the installation and configuration of all software packages as needed to support business requirements
- Perform analysis and develop solutions based on established service agreements for capacity planning and performance tuning
- Ensure in solutions and deployments, the security of our enterprise infrastructure and compliance with all applicable security standards (PCI, PII, HIPPA, etc.)
- Act as the highest level of engineering escalation for issues encountered
- The Voice Architect will understand advances and changes in the technology industry and work directly with equipment manufactures to assess new technologies
- A , Net , ACIS, CCNA, MSCE, Linux certifications
- 10 years of experience working at a senior level of technical expertise in UC; Preferably with 3 years of UC architecture
- Working knowledge of enterprise Contact Center business IT operations
- Proficiency in understanding of UC/VoIP technologies and their operating requirements
- Strong understanding of web services and APIs; UC and CC systems administration and design including CM, System/Session Manager, AES, CMS, Experience Portal, Device Services and associated clients including One-X Agent, Workplace (Equinox) and CMS Supervisor; Cisco UC systems administration and design; including CUCM, CUBE and PCD
- Strong customer-service orientation. Excellent written and oral communication skills; Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to analyze issues, use sound judgment, and solve complex technical problems
- Proficient in multi-tasking
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Understanding of development and project management methodologies
- Understanding of industry trends as well as successful strategies in product roadmapping
- Strong strategic planning capabilities with proven hands on implementation experience
- Working knowledge of corporate IT disciplines and group dynamics
- Senior level architect in networking, UC and call center technologies
- Proficiency in using, troubleshooting and solution designs using industry standard protocols including but not limited to TCP/IP, SIP, SCCP, H.323, DNS, DHCP, TCP, UDP, IP, RTP, QOS, Routing, VLANs and Subnetting
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
