Business Data Analyst III

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Data Analyst III in Mountain View, CA. This role is a combination of analytics plus reporting. This is a hybrid role.

Essential Functions:
* Business Data Analyst performs business analysis using various techniques (e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining)
* Determines best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operations
* Works directly with the internal or external client to identify analytical requirements
* Test and implement credit policy into decision engine and ensure flawless execution of intent
* Produce ad hoc/repeatable reporting which provides regular insight and updates on business performance and opportunities
* As a Business Data Analyst, you will develop automated workflows and dashboards
* Support initiatives to improve data quality
* Contribute to end-to-end problem-solving and strategic support for new business initiatives
* Partner with fellow analysts and stakeholders on self-service solutions and processes to ensure they are repeatable, sustainable and scalable

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of working experience in an analytics related role
* Significant experience building reports using dashboard tools such as Tableau or Databricks
* Experience setting up automated workflows and ETL jobs using tools such as Tidal or other tools works
* Strong SQL and Python skills
* Ability to learn fast and work in a fast-paced working environment, and confidence in taking end-to-end ownership of a project
* Past experience in credit analytics is preferred
* Fintech background preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
