RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Maryland Heights, MO. This role serves as a crucial liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into technical solutions. The ideal candidate has experience gathering and analyzing requirements, developing user stories, and working within application development, API, and SDLC environments.
Responsibilities:
* Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams to define and refine technical requirements
* Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements through stakeholder engagement
* Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications
* Develop process flows and user stories to support application development
* Collaborate with development teams working on application development, APIs, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions
* Proactively ask the right questions to uncover underlying business needs and challenges
* Support testing and validation to ensure successful implementation of solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sector
* Strong understanding of business process flows and requirement-gathering methodologies
* Experience translating business needs into technical requirements
* Hands-on experience developing user stories and working with Agile teams
* Familiarity with application development, APIs, and SDLC processes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
* Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar requirement-tracking systems
* Knowledge of API integrations and system architecture
* Background in telecommunications or a related industry
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
