RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter in Corvallis, OR.
Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive CAD Drafter to support ongoing upgrades and changes to campus facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for updating 2D AutoCAD drawings to support the campus master documentation efforts. This role involves collaboration with facilities and engineering teams and requires occasional field verification on campus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Revise, proof, and maintain 2D AutoCAD drawings for campus facility upgrades and changes
* Interpret and apply design changes from field data, engineering notes, and documentation
* Conduct field verification walks across campus to ensure drawing accuracy
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure drafting work aligns with project requirements and facility standards
* Maintain organized and up-to-date CAD documentation for master files
REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate's degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
* Proficiency in AutoCAD with at least 1 year of drafting experience
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawing
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
* Ability to walk throughout campus for fieldwork as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with facilities or architectural drafting
* Familiarity with multi-building campus infrastructure or facilities management environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
