RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Pasadena, CA that is looking for a Construction Technology Specialist (Field Support).
Overview:
The Construction Technology Specialist will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of technologies used at construction sites. The CTS will support job site leadership and personnel with technology-related tasks, maintain and improve field technologies, and assist in the integration and configuration of construction-specific applications. This role involves providing training, troubleshooting, and ensuring the continuous improvement of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Construction Technology Specialist will test, deploy, and maintain software updates for field technologies
* Identify and assess technology needs at construction sites
* Implement, support, and manage technology solutions
* Provide training and support on new technologies to job site personnel
* Collaborate with IT and other departments for system integration
* Stay updated on emerging construction technologies
* Troubleshoot technology issues and develop solutions
* As a Construction Technology Specialist, you will develop documentation and training materials
* Evaluate and enhance existing applications for continuous improvement
* Perform configuration and integration testing in beta environments
* Maintain project status and technical documentation
* Travel to various locations for training and support as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or 5 years of industry experience
* 3 years of experience with construction technology, estimating, project management, or related software
* Knowledge of estimating software, troubleshooting, and project management processes (RFI, submittals, construction process)
* Experience with FastDUCT and Fast Pipe
* Cloud storage knowledge (e.g., Dropbox/Google Drive, GSuite)
* Proficiency with Excel (including adding formulas and basic functions)
* Experience with BlueBeam and Bid Tracer
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
