RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Endpoint Analyst in Chicago, IL.
Key Tasks:
Software Packaging & Deployment:
* Endpoint Analyst will manage and build software asset packages for onboarding and user access
* Ensure proper assignment of software packages to new hires and team transitions
* Oversee OS patches and deployments, ensuring consistency and compliance
Automation & Process Improvements:
* Lead efforts to automate software packaging and deployment processes using PowerShell and related scripting tools
* Identify and implement efficiencies to streamline workflows and reduce manual efforts
Knowledge Transfer:
* As an Endpoint Analyst, you will collaborate closely with a retiring subject matter expert (SME) to document and learn existing automation frameworks
* Gain a deep understanding of software titles and existing tools
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Partner with security teams to align software deployment with enterprise policies
* Support the integration of automation with tools such as SharePoint and other IT systems
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2 years of experience in a similar role involving software packaging and automation
* Proficient in PowerShell scripting, with experience in automating software deployment processes
* Strong understanding of software packaging, OS patching, and deployment in enterprise environments
* Familiarity with tools like SharePoint for documentation and workflow management
* Forward-Thinking: Able to identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions
* Collaborative: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including security and IT
* Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage and track software titles and deployment accuracy
* Quick Learner: Ready to absorb and document institutional knowledge from a retiring SME
* Prior exposure to large-scale endpoint environments is preferred
* Experience with modern device management (e.g., Intune, SCCM) and endpoint solutions is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
