RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Technician II in Tucson, AZ.
Key Tasks:
* Infrastructure Technician II will set-up, deliver, and install personal computers, telephones, networking, and peripheral equipment following established procedures and processes
* Configure, install, troubleshoot, and monitor communications devices, including switches, hubs, wireless devices, MESH networking components, voice systems, RF systems, and other networking infrastructure (both copper and fiber optic)
* Assist in the management of site servers and process control infrastructure, including virtual/physical servers and storage devices
* As an Infrastructure Technician II, you will assist in executing projects related to MIS and process infrastructure
* Actively participate in Safety and Environmental programs, ensuring compliance with MIS policy and site operational goals
* Perform other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma or GED preferred
* Four (4) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair and one (1) Technical Certification in a discipline relevant to the role; Or Six (6) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair
* Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam
* Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing
* Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation
Preferred Qualifications:
* A Certification
* Network Certification
* Microsoft Server-related certification
* Fiber Optic Certified Technician
* MESH network certification
* RF field experience
* Physical/Virtual server management training
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
