RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Technician II in Safford, AZ.
Essential Functions:
* Infrastructure Technician will set up, deliver, and install personal computers, telephones, networking, and peripheral equipment using established procedures
* Perform preventative maintenance on voice and data communication systems and associated hardware, maintaining accurate documentation
* Actively participate in Safety and Environmental programs, ensuring MIS policy compliance and supporting site operational goals
* As an Infrastructure Technician, you will troubleshoot voice, network, PC, and basic wireless issues to isolate and diagnose infrastructure problems
* Perform other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
* Two (2) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair
* Demonstrated technical expertise in the installation, repair and maintenance of PC hardware, software, printers, fax machines and telephone handsets
* Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols and technology including wireless networking equipment
* Basic knowledge of voice systems (PBX/VoIP)
* Must be customer service-oriented and possess good organizational skills
* Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written
* Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
* Ability to effectively analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with computers, peripherals, cellular and voice systems
* Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as business dictates
* Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
Preferred Qualifications:
* A certification
* Network certification
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
