RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Johnston, RI that is in need of a Principal Quality Assurance.
Responsibilities:
The Principal QA is an accomplished QA leader who is a strong proponent of Quality. They will work hands-on doing testing. This role will have a strong background in testing of all types with an emphasis on Integration testing and debugging - they can create a Test Strategy. The Principal Quality Assurance will understand how to create a test plan and value test case review, and value metrics as a means to drive quality. They understand release processes and how they impact testing.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong QA leadership background with clear hands-on experience in the actual testing of complex applications preferably with cross-team development and data flow
* Excellent problem solving and debugging skills to support root cause analysis of bugs and drive remediation and prioritization of issues
* Highly experienced QA with expertise in creating test strategies, test planning, test process and using Quality metrics to support their work
* Goal oriented individual with strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Excellent influencing, documenting and presentation skills
* No applications for QAs focused only on automation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
