RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Project Manager experienced in Security and Compliance to join their Cybersecurity team in NYC.
Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate SOC 2, SOX, and other security compliance activities for the IT organization. The Project Manager will also support high-visibility and complex cybersecurity projects and programs, working with engineers in various functions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical project management skills and understanding of SOC 2 and other security frameworks. This is a remote role.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or comparable work experience
* 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a cybersecurity, application development or other IT field
* Knowledge of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure concepts and technology to facilitate communication, understanding, analysis, and reporting, ensure risks, issues, and dependencies are defined
* Experience managing SOC 2 or similar compliance projects and audits
* Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, audit processes, risk management, and control implementation
* Solid experience with Jira and Confluence
* Intermediate/Advanced PowerPoint skills preferred
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and teams
* Proven ability to drive teams to reduce ambiguity and to facilitate problem solving and collaboration
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
