RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a skilled Project Manager to manage a large 3 million dollar high visibility project. This position will work hybrid schedule, 4 days in office, 1 day remote.
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Project Manager to lead a high-visibility project focused on converged ordering across core and mobile channels. This $3 million initiative involves both onshore and offshore teams and requires a steady hand to ensure scope, schedule, and delivery quality are maintained.
While the budget is managed by another team, you will be 100% responsible for driving the project to successful completion. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with large teams, work closely with program managers, and occasionally present updates to Vice Presidents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the project, including scope, schedule, and delivery quality
* Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure project milestones are met
* Utilize JIRA, MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to manage workflows, track progress, and present updates
* Align with program managers and leverage support from other project managers as needed
* Provide clear and professional communication to stakeholders at all levels, including occasional presentations to Vice Presidents
* Address challenges related to a steep learning curve and a project that is already behind schedule
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience managing projects in a fast-paced environment
* Expertise with JIRA, along with proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a professional presence
* Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and work collaboratively with program managers
* The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
* Previous experience with ordering systems or in the telecommunications industry
* Familiarity with converged ordering or similar domains to help navigate the steep learning curve
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
