RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Norwalk, CT.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Project Manager drives the development and execution of project plan by working with project team to define, sequence, and estimate duration of activities and determine schedules to meet project objectives
* Ensures consistency and adherence to standards, processes, and policies for all projects
* Manages all aspects of the project execution including chartering, scope definition, requirements gathering, project planning, change control, risk management and reporting
* Facilitates and manages resource planning, cost estimation, budget development, and cost control
* Manages the identification, resolution and escalation of project risks and issues
* As a Project Manager, you will track project budget and resource utilization against plan
* Plans and executes project communications ensuring timely and accurate distribution of information, documentation, and issue resolution to all appropriate team members
Guidance:
* Works with minimal direction
* Contributes to strategic decisions affecting the discipline
* Assesses and determines priorities within area of expertise
* Structures and implements changes within the context of established strategy
* Work is guided by operational and project objectives: Manages multiple assignments and processes; Independently determines approach to project
* Anticipates and prevents potential problems
* Independently develops solutions that are thorough, practical, and consistent with functional or customer objectives
* May be responsible for specific programs, customers and/or projects
* May provide technical guidance or influence the work of others
* Updates leadership on project/activity status
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge:
* Organizational expert within defined subject area.
* Ability to integrate deep subject matter expertise with: Industry experience; In-depth knowledge of professional standards and trends within area of expertise; Relevant related disciplines
