RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a RedHat Quay Senior Consultant in Raleigh, NC.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled RedHat Quay Senior Consultant to design, implement, and optimize Quay container registry solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Quay HA and DR configurations, as well as deploying Quay as an operator on bare metal in a secure, air-gapped, or disconnected environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of experience with RedHat Quay, OpenShift, or Kubernetes-based container registries
* Strong knowledge of Quay HA and DR configurations
* Hands-on experience deploying Quay as an operator on bare metal
* Experience working in air-gapped or disconnected environments
* Expertise in Linux, networking, container security, and storage integration
* Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, GitOps, etc.)
* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to document best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
* RedHat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes (RHCSA, RHCE, or RHCA)
* Experience with container security tools (Clair, Notary, etc.)
* Familiarity with OpenShift, Podman, and OCI-compliant registries
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
