RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a client in search of a Risk and Performance Product Manager (VP level role) to join their team in NY! This position is full time, direct hire and on-site in NY.
Responsibilities:
* Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop a comprehensive product strategy, roadmap, and OKRs for risk management systems to drive measurable impact; Refine the roadmap by engaging with stakeholders, adapting to evolving business needs and driving measurable risk mitigation results
* Product Leadership: Oversee a team of product managers; Ensure the team's accountability for the full product lifecycle of their products while maintaining a consistent user experience and connectivity within the investment lifecycle
* Risk Analytics & Reporting: Build and enhance risk analytics capabilities within the firm by developing and implementing risk metrics, dashboards, and reporting solutions that provide real-time insights into risk exposure and performance
* Collaborate closely with Engineering team and external vendors to define and implement data feeds, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and standardized risk-related data is integrated into the firm's risk management systems; Drive the creation of dashboards and other visualization tools
* Domain Expertise: Act as the expert for Risk and Performance solutions, providing insights and innovative solutions that support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, gaining buy-in and ensuring alignment across the organization on product vision, priorities, and timelines
* Vendor and Partner Management: Lead buy vs. build assessments, select the right partners, and manage ongoing vendor relationships
* Platform-Mindset: Ensure product decisions are in line with the broader Investment Lifecycle Product and Technology vision, focusing on interoperability and scalability across teams and tools
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strategic Product Ownership: 7 years of product management, data analytics, business analyst, or software development experience, ideally with Risk Management expertise; Demonstrated ability to create and execute a product strategy and roadmap to support effective risk management
* Risk Analytics Expertise: Experience in performing risk analytics, developing risk metrics, and producing actionable risk reports; Familiarity with risk measurement techniques
* Customer-Centric Design: Strong understanding of risk managers and investment professionals' roles and responsibilities and how to implement feedback loops to continuously improve the risk management and performance product experience
* Technical Proficiency: Experience with Risk Management concepts, including ability to collaborate with engineers to create data models, custom configurations, workflow automation, and integrations
* Bring strategic vision, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to integrate risk assessment and mitigation seamlessly into business processes, delivering actionable insights and fostering innovation in a dynamic environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
