RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Springfield, MA is searching for a Software Developer to join their team. The position will be onsite 3 days a week, and 2 days remotely.
Duties:
* Research new technologies, advancements and industry improvements in order to stay abreast of the latest developments and trends
* Develop and maintain project documentation using current templates and guidelines
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field desired; Certifications in modern development methodologies a plus
* Understanding of the full project lifecycle and 3 years of related experience designing and coding complex, multi-year, high-dollar amount engagements
* Must have knowledge of or experience with related programming languages, tools and databases, including C#, .NET, JavaScript, Java, Microsoft SQL Server, MS Reporting Services, T-SQL, Microsoft Office and flow charting tools
* Highly motivated and skilled problem solver
* Comfortable with version control systems such as Azure DevOps
* Understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
* Ability to organize time effectively and work under time constraints, meet deadlines and prioritize
* Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the department and provide off hours support as required
* Understand functional specifications, and be proactive in gaining clarification of unclear or incomplete specifications
* Must possess excellent customer service skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
