We are seeking a seasoned Radar Signal Processing Expert to join our team at Kforce. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the design, maintenance, and improvement of radar algorithms related to signal processing and target detection/tracking.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and implementing effective and efficient radar signal processing algorithms for target detection and tracking. They should also be proficient in programming languages such as C and Python, with a focus on numerical analysis and digital signal processing.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and validating radar signal processing algorithms for target detection and tracking
- Implementing these algorithms on embedded hardware with timing and resource utilization constraints
- Developing test cases using real-world data to validate the efficacy of the algorithms and iterate the design process based on deficiencies
- Collaborating with various engineering teams to ensure that the radar output meets their requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need a solid understanding of digital signal processing and numerical analysis, including Fourier transforms, digital filters, linear algebra, and optimization. You should also be familiar with programming languages such as C , CUDA (a plus), and Python.
If you have experience with Moving Target Indication (MTI) or radar-based multiple target tracking, it would be a significant advantage. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make meaningful contributions to our team.
