KG Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a growing clinic located in Kershaw, South Carolina. Relocation assistance is available.

The NP or PA is primarily responsible for providing medical services within the scope of licensing, training, and credentialing for the patients of the clinic.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Adhere to the highest standards of medical practice, ethics, and professionalism at all times.
• Provide quality care for all patients.
• Complete charting and required administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Participate in the development/review of office policies and quality improvement procedures; evaluate current practices, policies, and procedures; and support the Executive Director/CEO and Chief Medical Officer in their respective duties.
• Recommend changes in clinical areas and/or in general areas to improve patient flow, medical records, billing, and appointment practices.
• Assist the leadership in designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for Care Health patients and staff.
• Direct and supervise the clinical staff, as appropriate.
• Practice medicine in accordance with the quality criteria adopted by the organization.
• Become familiar with Federal and State rules, regulations, and practices in a Community Health Center.
• Become familiar with Federal and State health care program requirements and assist in carrying out these programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Graduate of an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners/FNP or Physician Assistant program and two years' experience.
• Advanced education and training in diagnosing and managing common medical conditions and chronic illnesses.
• South Carolina's current licensure as a NP or PA.
• Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/PALS) Certification.
•Meet all requirements to obtain associate medical staff membership and required privileges of service though the credentialing process.
• Current/eligible for a DEA certificate without restriction and an NPI number.
