Responsibilities :
- Support the President of Global Business Development & Engagement in decision-making processes, preparations for meetings, webinars and speaking engagements, and follow up with clients and prospects.
- Participate in business development meetings and other presentations by educating clients with respect to Kharon research and case studies.
- Landscape and identify potential leads and entry points for business development purposes to include at banks, companies, law firms, and the public sector.
- Conduct research on sanctions, trade controls and other Kharon-relevant regulatory matters.
- Conduct business intelligence research on companies, industries, and geographies.
- Collaborate with Kharon marketing and research teams to support Kharon participation and attendance at webinars,industry events and conferences, to include drafting and editing agendas, talking points and related proprietary material and collateral.
- Draft and edit proposals, RFPs and related material.
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve and streamline business development and sales initiatives and operations.
- Serve as a liaison between the President of Global Business Development & Engagement and the executive team, sales team and other Kharon departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
- Facilitate executive meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items.

The Chief of Staff will play a critical role in amplifying the impact and efficiency of Kharon's President of Global Business Development & Engagement, serving as an organizational and operational backbone. This role will provide essential support across decision-making processes, preparation for high-stakes meetings and presentations with clients and execution on strategic relationships. s. Acting as a key facilitator, this individual will manage communications, ensuring seamless collaboration between departments and aligning priorities to advance Kharon's business development goals. Beyond day-to-day coordination, the role will drive actionable insights through business intelligence research, analyzing companies, industries, and financial crime regulatory landscapes to identify strategic opportunities. From mapping potential leads to supporting industry events and drafting client-facing materials, the Chief of Staff will directly contribute to Kharon's growth strategy, ensuring each interaction and initiative is executed with precision and purpose.
This role will also serve as a central point of connection between the President, internal teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity across engagements. By supporting proposal development, streamlining sales operations, and enhancing standard operating procedures, this individual will empower Kharon's Sales and Marketing teams to operate at their full potential. Additionally, the role will facilitate executive meetings, track actionable outcomes, and coordinate key company-wide initiatives, including Q&A sessions and leadership communications. The base salary range at Kharon is set between $105,000 - $115,000 Please note that this figure does not necessarily include potential bonuses, commissions, benefits, or equity that may be part of the overall compensation package.
