Job Description:
The Marketing Communications Manager at Kia Central & South America Corp. is responsible for creating and implementing marketing campaigns to support the sales and brand awareness of Kia vehicles in over 43 countries across the Central, South America and Caribbean region. Working as part of the Brand & Marketing team and in close collaboration with Kia distributors and regional agencies, the Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing product communication strategies, managing 360° advertising campaigns, analyzing digital channels, and supporting product research and event management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product communication strategies to support the sales and positioning of Kia vehicles in the Central and South America region.
- Manage above-the-line and below-the-line marketing campaigns including media planning and coordination and campaign optimization in cooperation with Kia distributors, regional agencies, and business partners.
- Regularly report on campaign performance and status with the goal of maximizing KPI’s.
- Assist in guiding regional distributors in the management of digital channels including dealer websites and social media channels amongst others.
- Conduct social listening programs to gather insights and inform marketing strategy.
- Provide product research support, including gathering and analyzing market and consumer data to inform marketing strategy and campaigns.
- Support event management, including the planning and execution of events such as product launches and distributor committees.
Principal Relationships:
Internally, the Marketing Communications Manager will be part of the Brand & Marketing department and report directly to the Head of Marketing. The Marketing Communications Manager will also work closely with the Sales team, Product team, Customer Experience team and other cross-functional teams such as Planning, Channel management and Service departments. Communication with Kia HQ Global Brand Strategy Group and CX Planning Group, and the Marketing Communications Group will occur, and other regional HQs around the world on brand and marketing topics will also be crucial.
Externally, the Marketing Communications Manager will work closely with Kia distributors in the Central and South America region, and other external partners as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, preferably in marketing or communication
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in advertising and marketing
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Strong skills in campaign data analysis for marketing campaign optimization
- Experience in utilizing digital marketing tools
- Proficient in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
- Strong project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the automotive industry or related fields
- Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
