Responsibilities and Qualifications:
The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the parts department.
- Administer the parts department Retail, Warranty, and Customer-Pay (Repair Order) sales
- Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department and the do-it-yourself public.
- Establish individual parts inventory levels and balance them for maximum turnover
- Monitor and adjust Days' Supply for critical and fast-moving parts categories and numbers.
- Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence
- Maintain Inventory Aging guidelines
- Manage the parts inventory and track expenses
- Work with the service manager and shop foreman to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs
- Strong customer service skills are a must
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
- Experience with DealerTrack and Kia Part Systems is a plus
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as an Automotive Parts Employee
- Previous Automotive Parts Management experience required
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
