Automotive Parts Counter Person

Job Overview
We are seeking a Parts Counter Person with import dealership or aftermarket parts experience to join one of our import dealership teams. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for the automotive industry. As a Counter Person, you will assist customers and technicians with their parts orders, checking in parts orders and maintain an organized workspace. The position will also have a commission-based income along with salary.

Responsibilities

• Looking up parts orders for both retail, wholesale and mechanic shop.
• Handling phone orders.
• Checking in parts orders and putting stock up.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment.
• Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to provide informed recommendations to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to market products effectively and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Keep the counter area clean and organized to promote a welcoming environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a dealership parts dept is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software applications for inventory management.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers, but are not required.
• A solid understanding of automotive diagnostics is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.

We are looking for a parts counter person to get in on the ground floor and grow with the dealership.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $750.00 - $850.00 per week

License/Certification:
