Position Summary
The Receptionist is responsible to greet visitors and customers at the dealership and direct them to the right department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Greet all customers entering the showroom. Acknowledge and smile at any customer within 10 feet of you as you walk around the dealership.
- Ensure to follow the morning checklist to open and get the day started.
- Answer phone calls in a polite, professional tone and transfer call to correct employee. If the employee is not available, take a detailed message with convenient time and number for return call.
- Stock in new cars and assign stock numbers from Dealer Daily. Prepare NC jacket, stock tag and addendums.
- When units are received, ensure to tag the keys, prepare owner manual packet, take keys to Service, and file the manual.
- Purchase in the new units to our accounting system.
- Walk the showroom every 60 minutes to push in chairs, pick up trash, check the coffee area and refill as necessary. When the showroom is busier, more trips to the coffee area may be needed.
- Prepare reports, correspondence and memos.
- Communicates with management, whenever a concern or situation arises.

- Must have basic math skills.
- Must be organized and be detail oriented.
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
- Positive attitude and high energy with willingness to go above and beyond.
