Bike Attendant - Part Time

Expectations & Responsibilities:

• Recreation Bike Concierge managing flow of operations for the bike pavilion.
• Be the front facing individual for all rental equipment needs.
• Provide exceptional guest service while assisting guests and visitors with all requests.
• Exchange bike sizes for guests when needed.
• Create Bike reservations and other Recreation reservations in Open Activity.
• Perform billing in Micros.
• Work in all areas of the Bike Operation, as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of the Recreation Department, Resort, The Sanctuary and the island.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.
• Be able to work and be productive with minimal supervision.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word throughout the day.
• Operate a loaded truck and trailer safely and efficiently.
• Communicate in English to management, co-workers, and guests to their understanding.
• Uphold the core values and policies and procedures of the resort.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record required.
• Previous Hospitality experience preferred.
• Must have excellent organizational skills, plus proper phone etiquette.
• Must possess the ability to remain calm in a stressful and / or hurried environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information required.
• Must work both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry minimum weight of 40 lbs. across short-medium distances.
• Must physically be able to transport bicycles and required equipment repetitively over the course of an eight (8) hour shift.
• Must be able to sit / stand for the majority of shift while reaching, bending and stooping.
• Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, outdoor work environment, with varying temperatures.
