Qualifications:Required:
- Minimum Age – 18 years of age.
- Minimum experience – 2 years in in the marketing industry is strongly preferred, ideally within the travel or hospitality sector.
- Minimum education – bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Must have computer skills and detailed knowledge of each of the following programs: Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., Outlook.
- Proficiency in the following computer programs preferred: Canto, Monday.com, WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sprout Social.
- Strong preference given to experience with hotel reservations operations.
- Must be detail oriented, a strong critical thinker, and possess problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as in a team environment.
- Must be capable of managing several projects and responsibilities with ease.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Must possess the ability to adapt in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task and possess strong organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to handle confidential information, possess the ability to be discreet, and can be trusted to handle difficult inquiries with finesse.
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator is someone who thrives in a creative environment, seeks trends in technology and consumer behavior to understand opportunities for connection with audiences, and is excited for the opportunity to be involved in all facets of hospitality marketing. This position will provide support to the entire marketing team, and will play a key role in helping achieve the division’s goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all resort and hotel external web listings.
- Assist the Director of Leisure Sales in management of wholesale golf bookings, including, but not limited to, maintaining database of wholesale partnerships, securing accommodations and golf tee times, providing thorough communication to wholesale partners at every step in the booking process, and working closely with resort accounting department to ensure accuracy of wholesale billing.
- Assist the Director of Public Relations with developing itineraries and booking reservations for hosted media and partner stays at the resort.
- Assist the Senior Creative Designer with updating and managing creative collateral for all operations teams.
- Help maintain digital asset database, including proper uploading, tagging and filing of media content.
- Help maintain accuracy of resort-owned websites and app, including managing basic content updates such as hours of operation, menu changes, etc.
- Assist Content Manager with scheduling and executing photo and video shoots for social media content development, as well as management of content engagement as requested.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events (as needed).
- Attend and participate in weekly marketing meetings and represent marketing department as needed in resort operational meetings.
- Own special projects, when applicable.
- Promote positive relations with guests and employees.
- Produce defect-free correspondence.
Essential Physical Requirements:
Must be able to properly and effectively communicate with guests, in person and via phone.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds across short-medium distance.
Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
Must be able to bend, stretch, and lift as needed.
